Partnership Spans All National Teams
Chobani announced a multi-year partnership with the U.S. Soccer Federation on October 23, making the New York-based food company the Official Nutrition Partner across all 27 National Teams, including the U.S. Men’s National Team and U.S. Women’s National Team.
The deal also brings La Colombe Coffee, acquired by Chobani in 2023, into the partnership as the Official Coffee and Cold Brew Partner of U.S. Soccer. La Colombe will provide craft coffee to the U.S. Soccer community on game days.
Alex Morgan, the retiring U.S. Women’s National Team player and two-time World Cup champion, filmed a video during her retirement ceremony to mark the partnership launch.
Community Programs and Coach Development
The partnership includes several youth-focused initiatives. Chobani Ball Kids will provide on-field opportunities for young players at U.S. Soccer events. The company will also support coach development pathways and the Soccer Forward Foundation, which provides scholarship grants to youth soccer clubs nationwide.
Chobani food scientists and U.S. Soccer growth experts will co-create a nutrition education tool for coaches. The resource will teach coaches how to incorporate nutrition values and lessons into their programs, and will be accessible through Soccer Forward’s Resource Hub.
“This partnership with Chobani helps us take that impact even further by creating opportunities and investing in the next generation,” said JT Batson, CEO and General Secretary of U.S. Soccer.
Founding Partnership at National Training Center
Chobani will serve as a Founding Partner of the Arthur M. Blank National Training Center, the future home of U.S. Soccer. The facility will house all National Teams and technical departments under one roof, creating a centralized hub for athlete and coach development.
The training center is part of U.S. Soccer’s broader plan to grow the sport and prepare for a significant period that includes hosting the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup and the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
Strategic Timing and Growth Context
The partnership arrives as U.S. Soccer continues its long-term growth strategy ahead of hosting two major international competitions. The Federation is focused on expanding participation at the grassroots level while strengthening its elite programs.
For Chobani, the deal represents its largest professional sports partnership. Founder and CEO Hamdi Ulukaya described the collaboration as an extension of the company’s mission to make nutritious food accessible while building stronger communities.
“This partnership with U.S. Soccer is more than just a match or drills on the pitch, it’s about nourishing potential, strengthening communities, and creating a future where everyone can move, grow, and dream,” Ulukaya said.
