For the first time ever, a high school basketball team competed in Nike Pro City. GameChanger and DICK’S Sporting Goods partnered to document this six-week experiment, following the players with cameras throughout their journey.
The team started their experience at Nike’s NYC headquarters with a financial literacy session. They then visited DICK’S Sporting Goods, where they received exclusive gear, including Ja Morant’s signature sneakers.

Once on the Brooklyn courts, these high school players faced Division I college athletes and professional players. Over six weeks of competition, the team progressed through the tournament and reached the Final Four.
GameChanger and DICK’S turned this experience into “TRANSITION,” a six-episode Instagram docuseries. The series shows the games, the basketball culture, and the daily preparation of these young athletes.

The complete docuseries is available exclusively on @BasketballonGameChanger. It documents what happened when high school players competed against college and professional athletes on one of basketball’s biggest stages.
The partnership between GameChanger and DICK’S captured both the basketball action and the broader story of these players’ experience in Nike Pro City. The series provides viewers with an inside look at this unprecedented experiment in competitive basketball.
