A Stadium in a Bag
Nike and Amsterdam-based creative agency Amsterdam Berlin have introduced the ACG All Conditions Cup System, a fully portable, modular stadium kit built to host football matches in environments ranging from mountains to deserts.
The system comprises 1,677 individual components. At its core is the All Conditions Pitch, anchored by foldable goals constructed from anodised aluminium tubes with interlocking click-fit connections. Spiked anchors at the base of each tube provide stability on uneven or snowy ground.’

Built for Harsh Conditions, Not Pristine Fields
Seven-meter floodlights sit at each corner of the pitch, using 1.2-meter-diameter balloon lamps mounted on lightweight aluminium tripod frames. The central pitch components are portable enough to be carried on foot in custom weather-resistant ripstop bags.
Spectator seating follows the same lightweight aluminium tube construction, with 3D-printed spiked feet for stability and waterproof ripstop fabric forming sling-style seats. The seating is designed to be transported and assembled on-site by spectators themselves.
A tension rail kit rack can be fitted between trees or rocks for makeshift storage and equipment display, using aluminium hangers and carabiners. The entire system is rendered in bright orange for visibility in adverse weather and alignment with Nike’s ACG brand identity.

From a Mountain Pitch to a Multi-Sport Platform
The system debuted at the All Conditions Cup, a collaborative event between Nike ACG and Inter Milan held in a remote mountainous area of Italy’s Piedmont region. The match marked the launch of a new Nike ACG x Inter clothing collection.
Amsterdam Berlin told Dezeen the kit is not limited to football or to a specific setting. “It can be used in any condition planet earth has to offer: it could host a game in the desert, a match in the rainforest or turn a tiny Caribbean island into a stadium.”
The studio also noted the modular design could be reconfigured for other sports entirely, stating that turning the system into a tennis court, volleyball field, or hockey rink would require minimal modification.

What This Means for Youth Sports Infrastructure
Portable, modular infrastructure that can be deployed without permanent construction addresses a real challenge in the industry: access to quality playing environments in underserved or non-traditional locations.
Whether Nike scales this beyond brand activations remains to be seen. But the underlying approach, lightweight materials, modular assembly, multi-sport adaptability, aligns with growing demand for flexible facility solutions across the youth sports landscape.
