What The Good Game App Actually Does
The Good Game Inc., a Kansas-based sports technology company, has launched a mobile platform designed to simplify how families find and book youth sports instruction. The app connects parents directly with verified coaches, sports organizations, and specialists across 40 sports disciplines, handling everything from lesson booking to event staffing in a single interface.
At the core of the platform is the Clear2Join Digital Passport, a one-time registration system that gives users seamless access to lessons, group training, camps, and clinics without re-enrolling for each provider. The company describes the booking experience as comparable to Amazon or Uber in terms of speed and simplicity.
The platform also includes 100% by-the-session insurance for coaches, an AI assistant called GG for profile creation and trainer matching, and built-in compliance and reporting tools for universities and nonprofits running camps and clinics.
A Gig Economy Model for Youth Sports Staffing
Beyond consumer booking, The Good Game is positioning itself as a labor marketplace for the youth sports sector. Coaches, officials, medics, rehab specialists, video creators, and equipment crews can list services and pick up work through the platform on a 1099 or NIL basis.
The founder, Zarif Haque, previously launched Draiver, a vehicle transport platform. “The Good Game finally unites a highly fragmented industry where parents have struggled to find trusted experts,” Haque said in the announcement. The app also includes a donation and scholarship feature to fund sessions for underserved athletes, with corporate sponsors able to fund sessions at scale rather than through one-off contributions.
Kansas University volleyball player Heidi Devers, an early user, noted the app allowed her to create her own schedule and connect directly with local youth athletes for coaching work.
Where The Good Game Fits in the Platform Landscape
The youth sports software space already includes well-funded incumbents handling registration, scheduling, and payments. The Good Game’s differentiation appears to center on the gig staffing layer and the universal passport concept, both of which address friction points that registration platforms have not fully solved.
The company has also opened a physical Performance Lab in the Lawrence, Kansas area to support in-person training. National partnerships are expected to be announced later in 2026.
The app is currently available on iOS and Android with sign-ups open for sports experts in Kansas.
