This prestigious recognition places them among an elite group of past winners, including notable athletes like Jayson Tatum and Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone.
The awards ceremony was the highlight of an immersive week-long experience for the 12 Gatorade National Players of the Year. The celebration included exclusive events, community outreach, and first access to Gatorade’s latest product drops.
Sadie Engelhardt, a track and field prodigy from California, broke national records in multiple events and maintained an impressive 4.59 GPA. Cooper Flagg, the top-ranked basketball recruit for 2024, led his team to an undefeated season while maintaining a 4.10 GPA.
