The International Boxing Association (IBA) has announced that Budva, Montenegro, will host the 2024 IBA Youth World Boxing Championships. This decision was confirmed during the IBA Board of Directors meeting on Friday, June 21, 2024.

- 2020 and 2021 European Youth Boxing Championships
- 2023 Youth World Boxing Cup
Historical Significance: The 2024 event will mark the fifth edition of the IBA Youth World Boxing Championships featuring both male and female boxers, a format first introduced in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 2014.
Participation Expectations: Based on the 2022 championships in La Nucia, Spain, approximately 600 youth boxers (both men and women) are expected to compete.
Official Statements: IBA President Umar Kremlev emphasized the event’s importance for developing future elite boxers, stating, “The names we hear at the Budva event will soon become well-known in the world of elite boxing.”
Montenegro Boxing Association President Alexander Klemenko assured that preparations are underway, promising “a wonderful and unforgettable sporting celebration” with “comfortable conditions for all athletes and international delegations.”
