NBA superstar Luka Dončić is taking his game-changing abilities off the court with the launch of his new foundation, aimed at transforming youth basketball culture worldwide. The Dallas Mavericks phenomenon is tackling a critical issue in sports: the declining participation of young athletes.

Growing up in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Dončić’s basketball journey began on outdoor courts and as a ballboy in local arenas. “Basketball has always been more than a game for me,” he shares. “It’s my ‘peace place.'” Now, as a new father, he’s determined to ensure future generations have the same opportunities he had.

The foundation’s groundbreaking “Inside Youth Basketball” report reveals a concerning trend:
