The Jackie Robinson Training Complex (JRTC) in Vero Beach is writing its next chapter with cutting-edge LED lighting technology. This upgrade merges the venue’s 75-year legacy with modern innovation, supporting MLB’s youth development mission.
Key Improvements:
- 53% reduction in energy consumption
- Custom light shows with music synchronization
- Professional stadium experience for youth athletes
- Maintained historic venue aesthetics
The complex, which hosts MLB’s premier youth programs including the Hank Aaron Invitational and Nike RBI World Series, now features Musco’s TLC for LED and Show-Light Pro Entertainment technologies. Despite using fewer fixtures, the system maintains optimal field lighting while adding entertainment capabilities.
For 2025, Holman Stadium will host over 20 events, from youth development programs to collegiate games, cementing its position as a premier baseball facility.
“We continue to be impressed by the dedication to youth programming on the part of MLB and the JRTC,” said Jeff Rogers, President of Musco. “Expanding opportunities for youth in all communities to develop life skills through sports is a big part of our mission, so we’re very proud to be a part of this project. We’re confident that athletes and fans at all levels will enjoy it, but we’re especially excited for the youth players who’ll be under those lights striving to learn and grow their skills.”
