A Record Track and Field Season by the Numbers
IMG Academy’s track and field program closed the 2025-2026 season with 30 national championship titles and 101 All-America honors, the Bradenton, Florida, sports education brand announced on July 14. The program won team championships at both the New Balance Indoor Nationals and the Nike Outdoor Nationals and qualified student-athletes for the World Athletics U20 Championships, capping one of the most decorated campaigns in program history, according to the academy.
The 101 All-America honors came across four championship meets: 32 at the New Balance Indoor Nationals, 39 at the inaugural Under Armour Track & Field Nationals, 26 at the Nike Outdoor Nationals, and four at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals. The 30 national titles broke down as 11 indoor, three at the Under Armour meet, and 16 outdoor.
“This was a defining season for our program and our student-athletes set the standard for what it means to be one of one on the track and off it,” said Mark Napier, Director of Track & Field at IMG Academy. IMG credits the results to its holistic development model, which pairs coaching with strength and conditioning, sports medicine, nutrition, leadership, and academics, part of the boarding school and camp experience the academy sells.
IMG Academy Hosts Inaugural Under Armour Track & Field Nationals
The season’s marquee event came at home. IMG Academy hosted the first Under Armour Track & Field Nationals on its Rekortan Gel G13 track in Bradenton, where its student-athletes recorded 39 All-America honors and three national championships, the academy said. Competing on its own surface gave the program its single largest All-America haul of any meet on the calendar.
Among the winners, Jaxon Jerabek captured the U20 men’s pole vault national title and earned a spot on Team USA for the World Athletics U20 Championships.
Relay Sweep and Indoor Titles Round Out the National Haul
At the Nike Outdoor Nationals in Eugene, Oregon, IMG Academy swept the boys and girls 4×800-meter relay national championships. The girls defended their title, while the boys won the event for the first time in program history, the academy said. It marked the first time both IMG relay teams claimed national titles at the same meet. The academy left Eugene with 16 national championships and 26 All-America honors and won the Nike Outdoor National Team Championship.
The indoor season set the tone. IMG Academy won the New Balance Indoor National Team Championship with 11 national champions and 32 All-America honors, then added four more All-America performances at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals.
Jerabek Carries IMG to the World Stage in August
The season’s final chapter is still ahead. Jerabek will represent the United States at the World Athletics U20 Championships this August, extending IMG Academy’s 2025-2026 campaign from national championship meets to the international stage.
