RaceTrac Locks In Multi-Venue Presence With Perfect Game
Perfect Game and RaceTrac have expanded their partnership, naming the Atlanta-based convenience store brand the Official Convenience Store of Perfect Game across Georgia and Florida.
The deal builds on an existing relationship. RaceTrac previously served as the title sponsor for Perfect Game’s 2024 Southeast Spring World Series. This expanded agreement adds year-round visibility at two of Perfect Game’s most active tournament venues: the East Cobb Complex in Georgia and the Boombah Sports Complex in Sanford, Fla.
What the Deal Includes
On-site, RaceTrac will have branding across all eight fields at East Cobb, along with up to four activations per year at both complexes. Those activations will include sampling and promotions targeting the thousands of families attending Perfect Game tournaments throughout the season.
On the digital side, the partnership spans co-branded social media content, targeted email campaigns to Perfect Game’s national audience, and online banner advertising across PerfectGame.org.
There is also a consumer-facing component: RaceTrac is offering $0.25 off per gallon of fuel for PG families who redeem a one-time promo code through the RaceTrac app. The discount applies to select March tournaments, including March 6-8 at East Cobb and March 27-29 at Boombah.
Why Convenience Stores Are Showing Up in Youth Sports
The partnership reflects a growing pattern of regional retail brands aligning with youth sports travel. Families attending tournaments often drive long distances, fuel up multiple times, and look for quick food options between games. Convenience stores sit at the intersection of those needs.
“Their clean stores, fresh food options and fast service make them an ideal partner,” said Perfect Game CEO Rob Ponger. “This expanded partnership allows us to bring even more value to our players, families and coaches while creating a meaningful presence for RaceTrac.”
RaceTrac, a family-owned company headquartered in Atlanta, operates more than 800 RaceTrac and RaceWay locations. Perfect Game produces nearly 10,000 events per year and remains the largest elite youth baseball and softball platform in the country, with more than 2,383 alumni who have gone on to play in Major League Baseball.
A Template for Regional Sponsorship in Youth Sports
This deal is a clean example of how regional brands can build sustained visibility in youth sports without requiring a national footprint. By combining physical activations, digital reach, and a direct-to-consumer fuel discount, RaceTrac gets touchpoints before, during, and after tournaments. For Perfect Game, it adds tangible value to the family travel experience while monetizing both venue assets and digital inventory.
